Bellavista Tower is a 22-story mixed-use high-rise under development in Santa Marta, Colombia. Conceived as a landmark project overlooking the Caribbean coastline, the tower spans approximately 2,000 m² per floor,
totaling nearly 44,000 m² of built area upon completion.
The first completed stage of the project is its luxury amenities level, designed as an elevated retreat offering residents a sophisticated blend of wellness, leisure, and social spaces. Warm materials, ambient lighting, and
water-integrated seating areas define the atmosphere, creating an intimate oasis above the city .
The design features a central reflective pool with sunken lounge seating, private cabanas, a bar pavilion, panoramic relaxation spaces, and fully glazed interior lounges that connect seamlessly with the outdoor deck.
Vertical wood cladding, soft indirect lighting, and sculptural planters reinforce the elegant and resort-like mood of the environment.
This amenities level introduces the architectural language that will define the complete Bellavista Tower: contemporary, refined, and deeply connected to the tropical identity of Santa Marta.
The amenities design phase began with an analysis of resident experience—circulation flows, privacy gradients, and transitions between indoor and outdoor zones. DR22 crafted a layout that centers the water feature as
the visual anchor, creating calming reflections and enhancing spatial hierarchy .
Through BIM coordination, every façade element, vertical cladding panel, lighting detail, and glazing interface was modeled with precision to ensure seamless construction integration with the future tower structure.
Material selection focused on durability in coastal climates: high-performance woods, treated metals, anti-slip surfaces, and humidity-resistant finishes. Lighting design was carefully orchestrated to create a luxurious
nighttime ambiance while maintaining safety and comfort.
As the tower continues development, the amenities level serves as the flagship environment and design benchmark for the rest of Bellavista Tower.
